Hi Everyone. My name is Wang Xiang. I am 15 years old and I am one of the kids from ACC Malawi. I feel very excited to be part of the team in the Chinese proficiency international contest, because this is an opportunity for me to practice my Chinese and learn more about myself.

My favourite hobbies are singing, dancing and reading. I also enjoy writing, especially in Chinese because it feels like drawing pictures whenever I write in Chinese. I think Chinese people are very clever - they created these amazing words by just using simple strokes and symbols!

If I have three wishes, I would first wish that all my friends can be happy everyday. I feel that happiness is very important in our lives. Without it, life would have no meaning therefore we need to create a happy place for all.

Secondly I wish that I can become a doctor one day, because even happy people get sick so I would like to help them recover and return to a healthy life. Just a few months ago, a medical team came all the way from China to perform medical checks on us. Their positive attitude towards helping people and unconditionally caring for others really inspire me to become a good doctor in the future.

My third wish is very ambitious. I wish that everybody can live healthily without any sicknesses! If this comes true then I would become the happiest unemployed doctor in the world! In that case, I would like to become a Chinese teacher and teach Chinese to many children, so that it opens up many opportunities for them in the future.

All in all, Sangalala (or happiness) plays a very important role in my life, and therefore I would like to wish everyone here happiness and health too.
