Following a major Buddhist Dharma function in Malaysia (led by Venerable master Hui Li), ACC also took the opportunity to host the first ACC conference for committee members in Africa and Asia.

As Master Hui Li's vision to propangate Buddhist teaching and wisdom in Africa continues to gain momentum, more branches and supporting units are being developed in both Asia and Africa, hence the purpose of this conference is to give them the platform to engage with each other, share learning and experience and plan the way forward. Master Hui Li emphasized the need for this kind of conference to take place annually, in order to ensure shared understanding of ACC future direction and align everyone's actions towards the greater vision.

The conference was attended by ACC representatives from the African executive committe and various Asian countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan and Shanghai.
