2014-12-10 ACC kids' learning experience at a convenient store
The 22 kids from ACC Lesotho spent a day at a convenient store in Taiwan in order for them to experience what it’s like to be working in such an environment which can be considered rare in the rural areas they grew up in.
Secretary general Vincent Lin said that since 2007, ACC organises an annual cultural exchange tour where some ACC kids can learn more about the Asian culture and meet the donors who support them over the years.
From the bell that rings when a customer arrives to the scanning machine used to record merchandises sold, everything was new and interesting for them. When asked about the most interesting thing they found in the shop, they all said the merchandises being sold at the shop.
